Details for your stay

The House:

  • Summer check-ins are always on Friday afternoon at 4pm.  This enables our maid service to turn over and the clean the house prior to your vacation. Maid service is included
  • Please empty and clean the fridge when checking out
  • Garbage pickup: PLEASE take out all trash from the garage to the curb on Sunday night. Garbage pickup is on Monday morning at 7AM
    • (We understand that this is inconvenient, but we don’t have a service that can put the trash out. Please let us know if that’s a problem).  The trash cans and recycling cans are stashed in the garage (at the bottom of the driveway). Ensure ALL trash and recyclables are in trash cans 
  • Linens: Please bring your own sheets, bath towels and beach towels (we do not have a linens service in this areas, sorry!).  If you’re flying in from out of state, please contact us and we can make special arrangements
    • Bed spreads and pillows are included
  • BUGS! Turn off interior lights at night to avoid attracting bugs. The bugs can travel through screens

Outdoors

  • Boats to share:  We have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, 1 row boat
  • Please bring your own fishing equipment
  • PARKING UP TOP:  You can fit 2-3 cars up top on the driveway, please be careful not to hit the rock walls with your car, it’s a very narrow driveway
  • PARKING DOWN BELOW:  Please park between the garage and our dock, which is about 80′ North of the garage.  Please do not park on the south side of the garage, which belongs to our neighbor
  • We do NOT have a hot tub (as of Jan 2024)
  • Campfires must be hosted at the water’s edge, preferably North of the walkway. Do not host a campfire if it’s too windy. PLEASE clean up after your campfire, and ensure that it’s out cold before going to bed
  • Our neighbors ask that we don’t use fireworks outside of the 4th of July or Saturday nights. If you do use fireworks, ensure your fireworks show is complete NO LATER THAN one hour after sunset and before 10:30pm. Ensure that all debris and trash are cleaned up
  • Nearby attractions include Sacket’s Harbor, Boldt Castle, Ft. Ontario in Oswego, and the Oswego Maritime Museum.  Closer to home, visit the Salmon River Falls and the Altmar Fish Hatchery 
  • Feel free to walk the beach at Pine Grove.  Near the breakwater at the North end of the beach is a sandy section which is open to all 
  • The best attraction happens every evening, facing West

Details on the floorplan

The bed count includes one king, two queens, two fulls, and two twin beds upstairs.  There’s a third twin bed in the room next to the downstairs bathroom.
